Anyone ever wondered why the neck of a babies vest has an envelope neck line? (At the shoulders where it over laps.)
Well, this is so that 1. it makes it easier to change your baby, 2. you can slide it downwards so you don’t get poo/sick all over your babies face when changing them. You just pull their arms out the top part and slide the vest off downwards.
I knew about this from when Ella was a baby but I don’t know why I didn’t post about it before. It’s just occurred to me that this little piece of information could be useful to a new mum. Yesterday and today, Myles did a poo so bad it shot up his back and all over his vest. So for the last two days, I’ve been changing him with this little hack which although it doesn’t change the fact he has poo all over, it has definitely avoided me getting poo on his face.
So there you have it. Now you know!
You’re welcome. x
